Encouragement
Encouragement
(Whispering Grace)
“I believe.”
These two words hold more power than the weight of our past or the battles we quietly fight.
Jesus said in Mark 9:23 (NKJV):
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'”
We have all carried burdens that few people see.
We have all sought comfort in different ways when the ache of old wounds becomes too much.
But even in our hidden struggles, God remains full of mercy.
He sees the tender places in our hearts and covers them in love, not shame.
Psalm 34:18 (NIV) reminds us:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Our need for comfort does not make us weak — it reminds us that we are human, created to lean on the heart of a loving Father.
God never turns away from our places of weakness; instead, He draws closer to them.
Each day we declare, “I believe,” and each day Jesus meets us there — healing, strengthening, and restoring us.
We are not defined by what we have used to survive.
We are defined by the One who saves and heals.
God is not ashamed of us.
He calls us His own.
And He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.
Prayer
(Whispering Grace)
Father,
Today, we lift up every heart that carries silent battles.
We lift up the places of our lives where childhood wounds still speak, where comfort is still desperately needed.
We declare together: I believe.
We believe You are the Healer of broken hearts.
We believe You are the Restorer of dignity.
We believe You offer a love that reaches deeper than shame and lifts us higher than fear.
Cover us with Your peace.
Wrap us in Your presence.
Remind us that we are not alone, not forgotten, and never disqualified in Your sight.
We thank You, Lord, that Your love is stronger than our past, greater than our pain, and eternal beyond every struggle.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Much love,
Renee
